“Unlock Better Courtrooms” is an official Judge Simulator feature. The public description does not name the rooms, list their order, show prices, or explain what “better” changes. A courtroom can be visual, functional, or both. Read the live unlock screen and test one room at a time instead of importing a catalog from another game.
Build a courtroom entry
Record the exact displayed name, current lock state, prerequisite, Money or Influence price, required Rank or case count, preview text, and whether the selection appears permanent. After unlocking, record the visual change and every reproducible functional difference.
Leave the benefit blank if the game only shows appearance. Do not turn a larger bench or richer decoration into a multiplier.
Decide whether a courtroom is worth unlocking
Compare the stated benefit with the next progression blocker. If the room explicitly opens new content or improves a resource you need, it can outrank a cosmetic purchase. If it appears visual and you are saving for Rank, wait until the Rank requirement is safe.
Account for opportunity cost. The same Money or Influence may be used by promotion, rewards, or other upgrades. Since refund and resale rules are not public, keep a reserve and avoid buying several rooms before testing the first.
The Money and Influence guide provides a spending ledger. The Ranks guide helps distinguish a room prerequisite from a promotion benefit.
Test visual and functional changes separately
First inspect the room without starting a new case. Record layout, labels, interactable areas, and selection state. Then complete a comparable case and check case availability, evidence flow, reward panels, Money, Influence, Rank, and leaderboard values.
Keep other upgrades stable. If payout changes after both a Rank promotion and courtroom purchase, you cannot attribute the difference cleanly. One controlled case is a starting observation, not proof of a universal multiplier.
If the room appears only after rejoining or selecting it from another menu, record that route. Do not publish a fixed button location without a current interface check.
Track unlock order without guessing a hierarchy
A more expensive or visually elaborate courtroom may be later progression, but price and appearance alone do not establish a strict order. Use the prerequisites and interface sequence. If two rooms unlock at the same stage, list them as choices rather than forcing one above the other.
Each index card should include the displayed name, prerequisites, cost, stated benefit, selection method, version, and verification status. Do not create a detail page for a room that is visible only in promotional art and has no confirmed in-game identity.
If a patch renames a room, preserve the old name in a dated note under the same entry when the identity is clear. Avoid duplicate canonical records for minor wording differences.
Courtrooms and case access
The official description lists unique cases and better courtrooms, but it does not state that each courtroom owns a case pool. Test access by comparing the current case options before and after an unlock. One unfamiliar case after a purchase is not enough to prove causation.
If the interface explicitly says a room unlocks cases, capture the wording. Then record which cases become available without guessing a complete list. Keep answers in the Case Index, while the courtroom entry stores the access relationship.
In multiplayer, note whose courtroom or progression state controls the session. A friend’s unlocked room may not grant permanent access to every account.
Fix courtroom unlock problems
If a room remains locked, read every displayed prerequisite and ensure balances and Rank have finished updating. Complete any open result or promotion sequence. Do not spend additional resources on a rumored hidden condition.
If the purchase applies but the room does not appear, check whether it needs selection or a normal transition. Rejoin the official experience once after recording the state. If the balance changed without access, preserve the before-and-after details for a bug report.
If another guide lists a different price, compare dates and modifiers. Early Access economy values can change, and another Judge Simulator is not a valid source.
Courtroom FAQ
How many courtrooms are there?
No complete official list is public. Add only rooms named by the live interface in the correct experience.
Do better courtrooms increase earnings?
That is not confirmed. Read the stated benefit and compare one controlled case before and after.
Can I switch back to an older courtroom?
Selection and permanence rules need in-game testing. Read the current menu before unlocking.
Are cases tied to courtrooms?
The public description does not define that relationship. Use explicit unlock text and reproducible access checks.
Evidence level: unlockable better courtrooms are Official. Names, count, order, costs, benefits, selection, case access, and multiplayer ownership require current in-game testing.
