Identify the board before reading rank
Record the exact board title, metric label, unit, visible entries, your displayed value, and any timer or season label. Determine whether the interface says global, server, friends, daily, weekly, lifetime, or another scope. Leave scope blank when it is not shown.
Do not name a board from the activity you expect. Use the live label.
Test what changes a leaderboard value
Take a baseline screenshot or note. Complete one known action: finish a case, earn a labeled resource, promote Rank, open a reward, or make another relevant change. Wait for the board’s visible refresh behavior, then compare the displayed value.
Keep unrelated actions out of the test. If you complete a case, buy a courtroom, and equip a gavel before checking, you cannot identify which event changed the board. Repeat the same action before declaring the metric.
If the board value matches your current Money, it may be balance-based; spend a small amount only if the cost and purpose are safe, then observe. Do not spend a large balance merely to test a theory. It could instead track lifetime earnings with delayed display.
Understand refresh delay
A leaderboard may not update instantly. Look for a timer, refresh label, or visible board cycle. Record how long one controlled change takes to appear. Rejoining can force a visual refresh but can also move you to another server board, so note the scope first.
Do not call progress lost during a normal delay. Check the underlying account value, wait for the visible refresh, and compare again. If no update appears, preserve the action, value, and time for a bug report.
Roblox’s universe updated timestamp is unrelated to a specific board refresh. It cannot tell you when rankings recalculate.
Check reset and season rules

Use Money and Influence for resource measurements and 100 Cases for a separate badge ledger. Do not assume the badge counter and a case leaderboard use the same rule.
Compare ranks fairly
Record the time and board scope when comparing two players. A server board can show a smaller pool than a global board. A friends board can omit public competitors. A current-value board can drop after spending even when lifetime progress increased.
Ties may use another rule or display order, but none is publicly documented. Do not infer hidden priority from one screenshot. Observe comparable values across refreshes before describing tie behavior.
Avoid publishing personal account identifiers without permission. A useful record needs metric, value, scope, and time—not private chat or login information.
Fix missing or wrong-looking leaderboard data
Confirm the correct Place ID and board title. Wait for the visible refresh cycle. Compare the board value with the relevant account counter and note any recent spend, promotion, case, reward, or server change.
If your entry is absent, check whether the board has an eligibility threshold, a limited visible range, or a friends/server filter. Do not invent a ban or anti-cheat explanation. Record the observable state and use official support or creator channels if a reproducible issue remains.
